Ginsberg and Nasca Lab Members Present Multiple Posters at SfN’s 2025 Conference
This year’s Society for Neuroscience Conference, hosted at the San Diego Convention Center, saw strong participation from CDR members. Dr. Steven Ginsberg and Dr. Melissa Alldred showcased three posters highlighting recent research outcomes from Ginsberg Lab Members. The titles of the three posters were: “Differentiating prodromal stages from progressive degeneration within layer III frontal cortex pyramidal neurons across the Alzheimer’s disease spectrum: endosomal-lysosomal and autophagy pathways,” “Bioinformatic analysis of Layer III and Layer V laminar regions and pyramidal neurons via digital spatial profiling (DSP) using postmortem human formalin fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue,” and “Two Hippocampal Neuron Populations Exhibit Unique Molecular Phenotypes in Aged Human Down Syndrome Brain.” Additionally, Nasca Lab members, Dr. Betty Bigio and Dr. Yotam Sagi attended and presented two posters titled, “Single-nuclei transcriptomic maps identified a mitochondrial pathway for epigenetic programming of rapid antidepressant action” and “Neuronal exosomes identified a brain mitochondrial pathway of epigenetic programming in treatment resistant depression.”
