Ginsberg and Alldred Contribute at T21 Annual Conference
Dr. Stephen Ginsberg and his Ginsberg Lab colleague Dr. Melissa Alldred were speakers at the T21 Research Society’s 6th International Conference: Insights from Across the Lifespan. This dynamic three-day gathering, held in June in Denver, Colorado, convened researchers, clinicians, industry experts, families, and patient advocacy organizations to advance the future of Down syndrome research. Dr. Ginsberg opened the Thursday, June 18 session on Executive Function in Down Syndrome Across the Lifespan: From Mechanisms to Modifiers of Alzheimer’s Disease Risk. Dr. Alldred then delivered her symposium presentation titled “Excitatory neuron expression profiles dysregulated in Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease underlie memory and executive function deficits.” The session concluded with an engaging panel discussion moderated by Dr. Ginsberg.
