Dr. Ralph Nixon Recognized as Top 1% of Highly Cited Researchers in 2023
The Highly Cited Researchers list by Clarivate is an annual recognition of influential scientists and social scientists worldwide who have made significant contributions to their fields through the publication of multiple highly cited articles over the last decade. Nixon is among those in this year’s 7,125 Highly Cited Researcher 2023 designations which were issued to 6,849 individuals from over 70 countries. Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% of the most widely cited by field and year of publication in the Web of Science citation index. These are, therefore, the researchers who have had the greatest impact in their respective areas. According to Clarivate, the company that publishes the yearly list, this selects group contributes disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and gaining for society innovations that make the world healthier, more sustainable and more secure.
