Ginsberg Lab Publishes in Alzheimer’s & Dementia
First author Dr. Amanda Labuza, along with members of the Ginsberg Lab, recently published a research article titled “Frontal cortex pyramidal neuron expression profiles differentiate the prodromal stage from progressive degeneration across the Alzheimer’s disease spectrum,” in the July issue of Alzheimer’s & Dementia: the journal of the Alzheimer’s Association. The study concludes that pyramidal neurons differentially expressed genes are directionally divergent between prodromal, progression, and frank Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Dysfunctional bioenergetic pathways increased dysregulation as the AD spectrum progressed.
