Levy Lab Members Take Part at 2nd ISEV Symposium
The International Society for Extracellular Vesicles, dedicated to promoting EV research and its applications globally, hosted its second annual three-day conference in October at the Montreal Neurological Institute. On the first day, Dr. Pasquale D’Acunzo delivered a talk titled “Mitovesicle secretion in the brain is altered by mutations in the potassium channel subunit Kv3.3.” Day-three, Session 5 called “EVs and Neurodegenerative Diseases: Mechanisms and Therapeutics” was chaired by Dr. Efrat Levy. Dr. Galit Bleicher, also from the Levy Lab, showcased her poster titled, “Cutting through the Matrix: Comparative Analysis of Enzymatic Methods for Brain Extracellular Vesicle Isolation.”
