Lisgaras Awarded R21 Grant

, Dr. Christos Lisgaras, was awarded an R21 for the project titled “High frequency oscillations in Alzheimer’s disease.” Dr. Lisgaras aims to understand the role of a new type of abnormal electrical activity in Alzheimer’s disease (AD): high frequency oscillations (HFOs) which are known to occur in epilepsy but their role in AD remains unknown.
