Scharfman Publishes in Cell Reports
Dr. Helen Scharfman’s recent collaboration with national and international investigators resulted in research published in Cell Reports. The study titled, “Testosterone and 17β-estradiol regulate hippocampal area CA3 sharp waves in male and female rats,” concludes that gonadal removal, testosterone, and 17β-estradiol significantly impact hippocampal sharp waves, with notable differences observed between sexes.
